Dana gere is a mixed media illustrator from aurora whose current focus is making gothic style illustrations based from a neurodivergent lens.
Why the focus on the neurodivergent experience?
Because I am neurodivergent and I think neurodivergent characters should be equally represented with full agency.
Who are your favorite artists
My current favorite artists are Ryono, Kenshi Yonezu and Yoshitaka Amano. (SEE ALSO MUCHA)
What media do you use?
I use multiple medias with each project usually a mix of ink acyrlic. But I am known to dabble in watercolors.I am very intentional about which media I use because i have memory issues I often have to reteach myself the media and color theory EVERY time I create.
